A Case of large neurofibroma of the occipital scalp

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of large neurofibroma which developed in the right occipital scalp of twenty four years old male is presented.
Roentgenological examination of theskull . revealed several irregular radiolucent erosions of the right occipital bone and irregular sclerotic reactions around the radiolucent areas. Physical examination showed no evidence of generalized neurofibromatosis which is known as a general feature of the disease.
The tumor was surgically removed and histopathological examination of the tumor tissue was confirmed as a neurofibroma.
